#11/18 ✅
5:30am start. Great day for a hike with friends. No snow until after High Creek camp, minimal post holing on switchbacks and it was easier to just by pass the snow along the trail by cutting thru (I try to avoid doing that but damn so many switchbacks) going straight up and did the same on descend. Used gaiters, micro spikes and hiking poles (ice axe not needed). As I got closer to the summit (about a mile) I was post holing again in some section of the trail. Snow was very slushy. 12+ hours moving time, 18+ miles round trip.
