Started early to secure parking, especially since trails had just opened again. It was crowded. Hike is mostly shaded and the sound of the creek was pleasant for the early part of the hike. It did get warmer than we expected. The Cafe at the peak was closed, so glad we had food with us… and our honorary drink for our dear friend ????
