The hike up was so beautiful. The elevation was gradual until the last mile. The toughest part was the last few minutes to the summit. Lots of bees in the middle section of the trail hugging the steep parts after passing the ice house saddle. Lots of nats and especially at the peak. The hike seemed very long after passing the ice house saddle. Hike felt longer than 11 miles. It was a beautiful day and the weather was nice on the mountain. Fantastic hike!
