I’ve finally got a full-blown hike to report! Got started waaaaayyy late and checked off Mount Diablo at the end of June. I may have bitten off more than I could comfortably chew, especially since I foolishly skipped my morning coffee and my caffeine-dependent self was SUFFERING by noon. Oooops! And it was a very very hot day to be out. But still a gorgeous day to get some me time and push myself to boot.
Mount Diablo State Park, 6/27/20. Looped through Mitchell Canyon, around the Juniper Trail, up to the summit, and back down via Eagle Peak. Hot, sunny, and gusty all day!
