Decided that since we get an extra hour of sleep and earlier sunrise from daylight savings, I should bag that last peak. With many of the peaks closed, I decided to hike Ontario Peak as the last peak. Got to the parking at 6 a.m. and expected a full parking lot like I saw two weeks ago but there were plenty of parking. The trail was not as crowded either. Weather was perfect, cloudy and cool. As recommended by my friend, we decided to summit Big Horn first so we get the steep hill out of the way. That was a great idea because Ontario felt much easier. The view was amazing and the scenery is different compared to Cucamonga. I'll definitely be back for other hikes from the saddle!
