Trail conditions were good – mostly dry with a little bit of mud. Weather was perfect with no wind and it was comfortable to hike with a 3 quarter zip jacket and a vest. This was the longest hike I have been on because my sister and I are newer hikers, but it was very manageable and we can't wait to keep going! We got an early jump on the day, starting just after 7:15 am and getting back down to the car before noon.
