Up, up and up. The route is primarily a comfortably wide fire road that starts with a climb then levels off a bit before the last mile of steady assent.
In hindsight we would suggest modifying the route to take the beautiful One-Way trail down into Ohlone Creek before reconnecting with the Abbors Trail.
