We started this hike at 8am. We took the trail to the right. The parking lot was almost completely full and everyone we saw starting the trail went to the left by the candy store. This was cool because we didn’t see anyone on the trail for over 2 miles. We never saw anyone going out same direction until after mile 3. The last half mile was pretty tough and I had no idea so it was quite the surprise. That section was hard also because there wasn’t a lot of room to let people by and that section seemed to be the busiest.  We spent about 20 minutes on the summit and we got back to the car at noon. I thought we made good time. It was getting really hot then too and the parking lot was completely packed with overflow.
