This was the CLEANEST trail I ever encountered. I had recently hiked to Eagle Rock and collected an overflowing trash bag only picking up litter/trash on the return hike so this was very noticeable and made for such a more pleasurable experience.

There are few 10 mi hikes that I would set out to do again, and you guessed it…this one was such a great trail with snow patches, a boulder to pull yourself up to reach the survey marker, lots of foliage and manzanita plus the older wooden lookout tower.
