At the top of Fremont

1/23/21- Fremont Saddle is absolutely beautiful! I arrived at 7:30am, and I’m glad I did since it got busy by the time I finished at 10am. Although the elevation is 1800+ feet, Peralta will give you a workout! This trail is a gradual incline to the Saddle for 2.5 miles, but the trail itself continues through the Superstition Mountains. I hiked past the Saddle and saw some acres that were impacted by previous fire(s). But it didn’t take away from the trail’s overall beauty.
