Trekked through Mt. Woodson as my first mountain to summit with a two of my fellow 6-peak-challenger hikers. We started at around 0645 am, very foggy and cold with the temp of approximately in the 50’s (in San Diego terms, it was freezing ???? ). It was Wednesday only a handful of hikers in site (we encountered no more than 10). It’s definitely a challenging, yet doable first hike.
