Started at the Maple Springs visitor Center and drove in on the bumpy road (paved first 3 miles then dirt) until we made it to the parking area. From there we hiked the 9.5 miles to the peak and back. Beautiful views all along the way. Gorgeous weather. Very easy and enjoyable hike. You’ll need a High clearance vehicle. Not necessarily 4WD but it may be helpful. Plan to go SLOW as there are some pretty huge pot holes and rocks on the road. Can’t wait to do this from Holy Jim when it opens again.
