Fremont Saddle – fog and hail

I went with a friend. We parked in the overflow lot even though we got there before 8am. Crazy weather – fog and intermittent hail and gropple! 40 degrees or so. The trail was eery – surreal – more like hiking in Oregon or Washington state instead of AZ! A nice change though. A bit slippery due to the wet conditions. No views at the Saddle. We should have been able to see Weaver’s Needle, but not last Saturday!
