I hiked this alone – two years ago when we attempted to go up it we only made it a little bit but saw gorgeous wildflowers – this year sadly there were none. There weren't too many people on the trail – it was quiet for a Wednesday morning. Once you reach the saddle going down and curving around the mountain – threw some of us off but it wasn't too bad going to down. I did lose the trail and followed some people up a shady part that was iffy but I made it. Boy was the wind wicked on the backside of the mountain. The railing and the cage part wasn't too bad once you were there. It is one person at a time in some parts – so if it was busy I can see a wait. I only waited for a few minutes while people came up. There are several trails that lead to the top once you get past the plank and once you are at the top you never want to leave!
