Getting to the trailhead is a bit rough. You travel there via a narrow dirt road with some tricky corners with low visibility. The Maple Springs trailhead begins at a dirt parking lot. We started the hike at around 6:30AM with clear, temperate weather the whole way up to the peak. The trail is pretty much a dirt road for offroad vehicles. By starting early, we didn't encounter any other hikers or vehicles. However on our way down, we had to make way for many trucks, jeeps, dirt bikes, and mountain bikes. Overall, the hike was relatively easy with just a gradual climb to the peak. You'll know you've reached the peak if you see a bunch of towers.
