A great trip up Santiago Peak

Although technically a truck trail (road) it was fine for the Honda Pilot we traveled in. Minimal traffic and easy to hear vehicles approach. A little warm on our descent as there is very little shade. Had the summit to ourselves for a little bit. We added on extra mileage and parked in a turnout 2 miles prior to the trailhead. There was not much information about this route but AllTrails did not fail us with directions!
