The first one!

We started early. Got there around 8 am. Our vehicle was the only one at the trailhead when we embarked on our journey. There was a nice breeze. Lots of trucks, dirt bikes, and mountain bikers. We only saw about a dozen other hikers. The morning was nice and overcast, as the day progressed, it got a bit warm. We chit-chatted throughout the hike. It took us 4:55 moving time to finish the hike. We took it slow as there are many rocks and loose gravel. I slid down on my butt a couple of times as we were approaching the peak…. but nothing crazy, Total mileage 9.5 miles. First peak complete! Feeling accomplished!
