This is definitely a tough one, so excellent job, Jeff. And it’s good to have people on the trail willing to help each other out. Never a lack of good happy people out there hiking. And that bear, what is it with Wilson? The only mountain I’ve ever seen bear on in our SoCal areas. Maybe they like to hang out where they know they can get a good look at Ursa Major for an old telescope! Need to completed this hike now that the trail is “Open” so I can officially count it. ;)~
I did the hike from Chantry last summer as my first big hike. This was fun to get back up there.
That’s great! I love that Chantry hike so much. Sad that I may miss it this year. I’ve hiked two or three times a year for the last 3 years. Hoping they open before the end of 2021, but I’m not holding my breath!
