I know that this is called Strawberry Peak because it resembles an upside-down strawberry. It took some imagination for our group to see the resemblance, but with time we got it. The top part of the trail is steep and exposed so I am glad we went on a day with cooler weather. Be sure to bring water! The views were better than we expected. Also, on the lower part of the trail there is a lot of traffic noise from the highway but take heart. As the trail winds up to the peak you will put that behind you and will be able to enjoy the quiet and solitude of the hike.
