Took Deer Springs to get some more practice miles in for mt whitney. If I wasn't training I'd perfer marion mt. Route which is shorter. It's still a great trail easy to follow and flowers were blooming. Very little water though we did pass a few trickles for filtering. Shared the summit with about a dozen people at noon and saw mostly backpacker's heading up for the weekend.
