Got to the parking lot at 5:45 and it was already filled up, very busy trail through Icehouse Canyon. Once I turned onto the Ontario Peak trail it was so much quieter..I looked everywhere for Bighorn sheep but didn't see any 🙁 It was a very hot day and I summited Ontario at 10:30 (did lots of dawdling since I was solo) and then Bighorn Peak (went off trail multiple times, hard to follow). It was very hot, dusty, and extremely buggy…I got stung by a wasp or a hornet that got between my back and my pack, ouch! I did love this hike though, I thought it was beautiful!
