I HATED the trail from Silverado Canyon last year…booooooooring fire road. Heard about this Joplin Trail and
It.
Did.
Not.
Disappoint!
Starts off steep and rutted, eventually goes into a ravine and is actually quite shaded for a good while. There’s even some flowing water if you can believe it!
Once I got to the main road to the top, I hit Modjeska, then after a break at the summit, where the cloud cover still remained, I made my way back. SUCH a better trail; I highly recommend it!
