This was a great hike. The weather was perfect, slightly chilly at the top.
We started at the parking lot and took Azalea Glen Trail. What a pretty trail and shady. We could hear the creek and woodpeckers at one point. So pretty! We went to the top, found the geo marker and sign after a little scramble through some rocks and trees.
Took the fire road down. I had long pants and long sleeves the whole time and was comfortable.
Great hike to hike with a friend that worked a lot this week. Not too strenuous. Beautiful views for less effort than some other peaks. Saw El Cajon Mountain in the distance which I plan to conquer next month.
