Oak Grove to High Point (Palomar Mountain)

First 2 miles are steep and a single track trail that’s rocky and uneven terrain – then it evens out on a fire road with amazing views of the San Bernardino and Angeles national forest mountains.  Did this on 12/19 and there were large patches of snow and ice on the fire road, sometimes unavoidable and very slippery.  Microspikes would be helpful here.  A great workout!
