This hike to Santiago Peak was basically a wide off road dirt path. I ended up hiking from where the pavement ended so the hike was over 18 miles. There were a lot of off road vehicles that came through while I was hiking, which kicks up a lot of loose dirt. The views from the peak are amazing, I wandered around the top, checking out the views from all angles, all pretty sweet!
