I wanted to start at the Bald Mountain parking lot, but it was full when I got there! So we parked at the summit parking lot, hiked down, took a detour to Bald Mountain, then hiked back up. I’m bummed about the parking, but it was still a nice day. Also, more parking would mean a more crowded trail! 9 miles total including the detour.
