Beautiful day hike up with minor scramble in some locations, greenery everywhere close in to the trail, no bugs at all which was nice, made it to the summit and spent time taking in the amazing views. We could see the Coronado islands out in the ocean, and hawks soaring on the wind down below us. Very windy up top on this day, but clear and not cold. The trip down was fast and despite some sliding on loose soil. Not sure if the “real” distance because AllTrails claims it is 6.7 miles but Pacer said it was 7.4 miles, but it wasn’t a difficult hike. Highly recommend and plan to re-visit.
