Ok…technically my hike wasn’t done in the springtime, as my hike preceded the spring equinox by a little more than a week. However, my March 11th hike up the mountain with my parents had all the characteristic traits of spring on Mount Saint Helena: the flowers were blooming, the weather was beautiful—not too hot and not too cold—and the skies were clear.
I’ve been up this mountain now more than half a dozen times over the years and spring is always my favorite season to visit this peak. It’s when the mountain is at her best.
