Awesome day on the trails with my running/hiking partner Scott on this first day of daylight savings time. Hills still green, many wildflowers, trails in good condition, cool weather with cloud cover and some wind but not too gusty. A great day to be out in Mt. Diablo.

Our route: Mitchell Canyon Trailhead – Mitchell Rock – Twin Peaks – Eagle Peak – Meridian Trail – Juniper Campground – Juniper Trail – Summit – Devil's Pulpit – (almost to) North Peak – Mt. Olympia – Donner Cabin – Mitchell Canyon Trailhead. A mix of hiking and running, stopping to search for many geocaches along the way. I've been to Mt. Diablo before, but this route included some new trails and it is always great to get out there.
