Did El Cajon & El Capitan yesterday and thought it would be a great idea to do another beast. Back to back. What harm could it do? Lol
Had zero energy, my fault. I don’t eat before hikes and after yesterday’s doozie, I really needed it, oops. Dragged all day, residual on the way back. Kept tripping… Over nothing on the last 2 miles of the hike back to car.
I am pooped out, luckily camping nearby so short drive to shower, dinner and not bed.
Hike was really pretty. Many large rocks have taken into for road from previous rains I assume. Easy to navigate around.
Had trail to myself, did not see another soul all day. Had peak to myself, which I always love. First time for me. Now have completed all the S. D. peaks.
Fun challenge!
