I spent Father's Day hiking San Jacinto Peak with my son Chris.  It was my son's first time hiking San Jacinto.  This was my third time hiking San Jacinto, but my first time hiking through Deer Springs Trail doing the loop coming down Wellman Divide Trail.  I have hiked San Jacinto Peak through Marion Mountain Trail and Humber Park.  My son insisted hiking through Deer Spring Trail to train our bodies for our upcoming hike to Mount Whitney this coming August 11, 2022.  Hiking to San Jacinto Peak through Deer Springs Trail was long, hard, challenging, but filled with beautiful scenery.  The weather was perfect through out our hike.  Up at the peak it was a comfortable sunny day with a slight breeze.  It was a great Father's Day gift hiking up San Jacinto Peak with my son.
