Mt. San Jacinto helped me complete the Six Pack of Peaks challenge for the first time at eight years old! 🙌🎉🎊 I hope that I'm one of the youngest finishers and inspire others! 🌟
Thanks to Rachel from @slothy_socal_hikers, we now have a peak sign for 📸.
Dad and I agreed that this was our favorite peak because of the trail's thick forestry and dirt paths.
ℹ️
Starting from the tram, we took the heavily trafficked route to the peak. This route has campsites and plenty of bathrooms to choose from. There are even stations to fill up water if you have a filter.
The 🚊 route is beautiful, with some of the most awe-inspiring 360-views of the mountain range and surrounding area. There are so many trees and rocks scattered throughout.
San Jacinto Peak stands as the highest point in Riverside County at 10,834 feet. From its location, you can see past Anza-Borrego and out to the Salton Sea, to the San Bernadino mountain range, and to the Palm Springs area below.
