We dropped a vehicle off at Mt Wilson gate with an adventure pass displayed the evening before hike. Awoke at 4am; left house at 5am; arrived at Mt Wilson Park Trailhead and began hike at 5:30am.
Pleasant cool morning. All shade. BEYOND LOVELY. Although a holiday weekend (Fathers Day), the trail was not crowded. Had a beautiful 7 mile hike to Mt Wilson. Summit by 10am.
Distance: 7.54 miles (includes walk around observatory and museums.)
