Mount Lincoln and Lafayette – Franconia Ridge

Fantastic day! Weather reports threatened afternoon thunderstorms so we got Ann early start. Multiple water crossing on the way up. Ate lunch at shining rock. One we submitted the views were breathtaking. I’ve been on this ridge before in the clouds but today was clear. We finished the day at Greenleaf Hut and stayed for the night. Hiked out the next morning, completing the loop and found a refreshing lake to take a short swim.
