Windy Franconia Ridge

A group of 9 women hiked the Mt Lafayette and Franconia Ridge Trail loop.  The start of the hike was great!  We had fantastic weather until halfway up the first mountain.  The temps started to drop and the wind picked up.  I felt robbed of our view.  We proceeded to hike the ridge and summit Little Haystack, Mt. Lincoln, N. Lincoln and finally Mt. Lafyette.  It was so incredibly cold and windy.  I plan to do this hike again in the very near future with hopes that the weather is better.
