Started trail @ 6:05 AM. Clear skies, yet a cloud layer was trapped in the valley making for a beautiful start to the hike. Came across a group of quail but couldn't make out what type, California or mountain. Summited by 8:10 AM. The view to the West was obstructed by clouds so did not see the coast as some blogs say you can on a truly clear day.
