This is one of my favorite hikes, so I started off the challenge here. I previously used this hike as a great training hike for Mt. Whitney. One of the highlights is always Devil's Backbone, I enjoy running across that section-I love the drop on each side. There's nothing like that feeling of being free in the wide open space like that!! We were able to start super early to avoid some of the heat. Always a tough one though!!
