This hike begins across the road from the TH. At first we were looking at Doe Mt and thinking it didn’t look like 2,000 ft and 5 miles. Then we looked across the street😂. The hike begins in super runnable dirt. That quickly changes to the rocks we love so much. Many areas closer to the top where we used our hands and did a little spelunking. Great workout, especially after our 12 at Wilson right before. Stunning views from the top and all the way back down. Very few people, even in the afternoon.
