Afternoon Bear Mountain

This hike begins across the road from the TH. At first we were looking at Doe Mt and thinking it didn’t look like 2,000 ft and 5 miles. Then we looked across the street????. The hike begins in super runnable dirt. That quickly changes to the rocks we love so much. Many areas closer to the top where we used our hands and did a little spelunking. Great workout, especially after our 12 at Wilson right before. Stunning views from the top and all the way back down. Very few people, even in the afternoon.
