Completing any of the 12 peaks from the 6 Pack of Peaks Challenge is never “easy”. Add in a few additional peaks and a challenging canyon route and you've got a very challenging day. Or should I say, a “SOB”ing kind of day!! (SOB=Sugarloaf, Ontario, Big Horn)

We started out at Icehouse Canyon Trailhead. Hike in about a 1/2 mile then headed across the creek to Falling Rock Canyon for a challenging ascent of over 1800 feet in 1.5 miles to Sugarloaf Peak. From Sugarloaf we head down a 1/2 mile and then back up 1.5 miles and another 1900 feet to Ontario Peak. After that we followed the Ontario Ridge Trail over to Big Horn and then descended the most direct route back to Icehouse Saddle and then back down Icehouse Canyon. Another awesome and challenging day.
