It started out freezing but it got warm pretty fast. First mile was beautiful with lots of trees, plants, running streams, calming sound, very relaxing, with a lot of shade. Overall, this was my least favorite trail because it was very rocky which made it hard to go fast. I also saw a lot of lizards, some with very long tail, almost looking like a snake. I saw a snake on the way down pass the saddle, around 2 miles before going back to the car. The snake had red and black stripes with some yellow. The hike was not hard, just very long and rocky trail with scary looking lizards and snakes ahhhhh lol
