A long bumpy road (about 6+miles) back to the trailhead. However, I've never been on the dirt road past the school. It's absolutely gorgeous on this other side of the Superstitions. The trailhead is really marked and easy to follow. We made it all the way up to the saddle and the fun waterfalls and views on the way were so enjoyable with hiking. A pretty steady up all the way to the saddle. The views were amazing of Weavers Needle! There is a tree on the right side with a short trail leading to it. Highly recommend hiking to the tree and seeing the view from that vantage point. Absolutely gorgeous and photographic place. We hung out, had a snack and took pics. When we headed back, we took a wrong turn toward another trail. Not sure if it led back to the same parking lot so we doubled back and got on the same trail we came up to return. It seemed longer going down! Quite a bit rocky so we didn't gain a ton of time on the way back. Found the parking lot and found a great Cafe for lunch and had Catfish and beer ! Cheers to a great hike ! Another favorite from this series.
