Once we got to the last 1/3 of a mile that is super steep, we decided to go the other way around to the summit.  It was not easy or clear the direction to go at all.  A lot of bushwhacking and we also got off trail a few times.  It turned out to be an additional mile to go to skip .3 miles.  It was an adventure that is for sure!
