We took the single track trail up to Santiago Peak & hiked 12miles round trip. We didn’t have a 4WD so we parked right before the paved road turned into a rutted, bumpy, gravel road. (AllTrails map) around 3 miles up from the visitor center.  So many hikers say they don’t like Santiago Peak. Well, I do! There is beauty everywhere! Open mind, open heart.

This is my 4th Peak in the SoCal Six Pack of Peaks Challenge
