Double Hitter Kind of Day- Starting at Volcan

We decided to add the SD challenge to our line up this year since SoCal peaks have unstable conditions on/off. It also gives us a lovely opportunity to mix in new beautiful peaks! Volcan although an easy trek depending on your level of fitness is a great start to the add and easy to stack with other peaks. The views were great. Only two patches of snow left. Easy to follow! I would recommend making this a day hike with friends/family/ significant other by adding on a lunch in Julian and a visit to the Camel ???? milk farm near by. You read that right… lots of surprisingly awesome things to do near by. Including even wine. I can’t wait to go back.
