Hiked this solo and started off at 6am to try to beat the heat. It's not the most peaceful with constant sounds of the railroad and traffic but was a great opportunity to jam out with the earbuds. This was a very rocky trail, so make sure you wear shoes with good grip. And I would recommend hiking poles for coming back down. Beautiful views and lots of shade opportunity, especially if you start early. There was a heat advisory today and it was definitely warm but you could still feel the cool northern breeze every so often which helped out a lot.
