Hiked with a group

Got to the trail at about 10am after hiking Black Crater and started our ascent across the lava rock. It was definitely hot, we needed more water than we brought. Only other people on the trail were PCT Thru hikers. Bugs were awful, tons of bees, but no mosquitoes. Perfect time to go for wildflowers and to meet some PCT hikers!
