Started the hike at 545am and sprayed bug repellent because I noticed the bugs were active from the moment I got out of the truck. The trail was very smooth for the most part but there was a few rocky area. The weather was nice and cool at the lower elevation but 3 miles in heavy gust of cold wind became the normal through out the  hike to the peak but very welcoming. Quickly started to see beautiful scenery and wasn't disappointed at all the hold way up the trail. Saw trail runners, hikers, and campers through out the hike and all were friendly. Reach the summit after around 4 hours with a a pace of 30mins per mile. Very windy but gorgeous views that made my lunch a beer that much more enjoyable. Enjoyed the peak for like 2 hours before heading back down, and the wind started dying down at that point, and the heat started breaking through. I took a 3 liter bladder and finished it almost at the end of the hike. I would definitely do this hike again.
