This was hard…like really hard…I had to coach myself the last 2 hours to make it to the peak…and ya’ know what? I made it. Started at 5 am, and 12 hours and 15 minutes later I finished. Brought tons of water, took several breaks, and saw maybe 4 other going to the summit. 6 of 6 peaks finished. I can officially upgrade my name now…”Amateurhiker82”

  1. Viv is TOUGH! I did the original 6 Pack in 2017. Had NO clue! Took me 3 TIMES to bag the summit!

You are a rock star! When I hike G I go up South Fork to Dry Lake trail and up the Sky High switchbacks then down the Dollar Lake Trail. This route is on the north side of the mountain. It is much less crowded and I feel much more beautiful! Big congrats!

I am doing the So Cal challenge again serving as tour guide for my friend, who did the San Diego 6 Pack last year and wanted to do the Big Daddy of them this year.
