driving from Connecticut to New Hampshire we had some concerns we were gonna be socked in cause the fog was terrible on the drive up however we were pleasantly surprised to get there to see the sun shining and all the warmth. The trail was perfectly maintained. There seems to be more people than they were last year. Lots of groups hiking out together they were all very friendly. There were tons of caterpillars and mushrooms to take pictures of. This place is one of my favorite places to hike. The views are stunning you get to mountains for the price of one. I have no complaints about this at all. The bugs were great I was only a few. It wasn’t very muddy. I couldn’t avast for a better weather in a better hike.
This is my 4th Six Pack mountain, at least 2 more to go!

Well done, Shianne! The Welch-Dickey Loop is a fun hike, but I wouldn’t want to tackle it when the granite is wet. Looks like a fantastic way to spend the first day of fall!
Thank you!!!
